“Harvest in Blue”
“Harvest in Blue” captures an otherworldly depiction of apples scattered amidst abstract textures and patterns. The vibrant reds, yellows, and greens of the fruit contrast with deep blues and organic forms, creating a surreal and dreamlike atmosphere. The juxtaposition of natural details and painterly abstractions highlights a unique, almost ethereal, interpretation of a harvest scene.
For me personally, the image embraces a blend of realism and imagination. Blended and layered with leaves and plants the image gives me an imaginary feel. This, like much of my work, pulls from my past, from a childhood of apple picking, eating crab apples straight from the tree on early fall days. Ignoring the warnings of belly aches and worms. Joyful silly things I did with my sisters and cousins. Enjoy.
Each print is meticulously handcrafted by me, emphasizing authenticity and artistic integrity. No artificial intelligence is employed in the creation of these images. In addition, none of the prints are mass-produced in a laboratory; they are individually hand-printed by me. All materials used, including ink and paper, are of archival quality to ensure longevity and preservation.
